PORT ROYAL GOLF & TENNIS CLUB - BARONY COURSE

Nestled along the Atlantic coastline, Port Royal Golf Club, named one of the “Top 10 ‘Exotic’ Golf Courses in the World” by World Property Channel and one of the “Top 75 U.S. Golf Resorts” by Golf Digest magazine, is located on the northwestern point of Hilton Head Island. Praised for its exceptional golf experience, The Club is situated in the pristine Port Royal Plantation.

This golf haven was designed by some of the best golf architects, such as George Cobb, Pete Dye and William Byrd, and having hosted the Champions TOUR Hilton Head Seniors International, it has been honored with the presence of some of golf’s legendary players. The Port Royal Golf Club was recognized as a “1997 Silver Medal Resort” by Golf magazine for its three spectacular 18-hole golf courses: Barony, Planter’s Row, and Robber’s Row.

Our 2023 "Be A Saint FORE Life" Golf Classic will be held on Barony Course.  One of Hilton Head Island's oldest courses, Barony was designed by George W. Cobb in 1963. You'll feel comfortable with your driver in your hand here as Cobb provides generous landing areas throughout the round. Don't get too comfortable; however, as your approach shots will much need to be on the mark. Cobb offers a "risk/reward" approach to well-guarded and well-bunkered greens.
